HOW IT ALL STARTED

Board Director:

In Nov 2015, Afrroz Hudli decided to leverage her AI passion, her ability to think big-picture, look at a problem from with different lenses – governance, financial, environmental, technology, strategy, risk, et al and her leadership skills to take on her first Board appointment in the 35 and under group. In May 2016, she joint Mambourin Enterprises Pty Ltd as a Board Director. Till May 2019 she served as the Vice-Chair and Board Director at Mambourin which specializes in differently-abled. Her role was to set strategic direction for the organisation, managing stakeholders, making certain that the financial performance of the business is in good health. And given her AI passion we looked at innovation and leveraging AI in a purposeful way at Mambourin.

Afrroz Hudli has served Fortune 500 companies for over 8.6 years providing consultancy through Accenture Australia. She brings a unique blend of thought leadership on bleeding edge technologies (Digital, Cloud Computing, Mobile Technologies, Artificial Intelligence, Embedded Nano Technologies), Strategy (Business, Digital & Peak Performance) Management Consulting, Sales & Business Development and Risk Management.

Hybrid Integrative-Agents Financial Trading and Technimentalist Approach

Master Thesis, La Trobe University, Australia, 2006

Inspired by the “herding” behaviour and integrative tendency of investors, this research investigated the efficiency of a financial trading system based on combination of technical and fundamental rules. The prototype predicted with 70% accuracy. Fast forward to now where the world is in this space: Today the Financial Trading world has evolved based on all such research to a point where automated trading by Artificial Agents is possible in microseconds.

Her first venture DAT Infotech (2003 - 2004) Business Plan made it to the top 1% of the 3000+ business plans received at the IIT Powai - Stanford Incubator.

In 2007 as the Chief Financial Officer & Chief Technology Officer, Medyalia (Start-up) the company gave it's investors and shareholders a 15% return on their investments. Medyalia was named the Best Company of the Year and Community Value Award.
