Decade Past, Decade Present

Happy & Prosperous ’20!

A new dawn awakes.
Say with me,

"Am going to live my best life ever this year, this decade & forever more."

β€˜19 was tough.
It brought many emotions, was tearful and rough.

Now another year is approaching fast.
Let's hope it's a New Year with love and health; let's make it a blast.

May all of our dreams come true
And may we find peace and love in all that we do.

Here is looking forward to a grand decade ahead !

City of San Francisco thank you for the OSM fireworks & specially the πŸ’–πŸ’› shaped ones. Love was not on my mind, so it was a huge surprise! Almost like the Universe dropping a hint ;-).

Oh oh, looks like this year it may just be my turn to get into a fulfilling passionate intimate happily ever after bliss! May he be a man wise beyond our times, health conscious, spiritually evolved, sophisticated, a man who is a vibrational match, aligned in our vision of life, meeting each others top 3 needs, understanding each others love languages and committed to creating an outstanding togetherness. In it to win it, kinda man! 😊😍πŸ₯°πŸ˜˜

Decade Past at a Glance `09-`19

We overestimate what we can accomplish in a year and underestimate what we can accomplish in a decade.

Professional Decade Past

Am immensely grateful for all the business associates, collaborations and ventures over the decade and my professional milestones over the last decade inspire me. See if they inspire you too. I also have a personal passionate message specially for you from a page of my diary in this video.

May our business associations and collaborations strengthen and grow whilst we in parallel make new ones too, over the coming decade.

Personal Decade Past

Where do i begin, am immensely grateful for all the awesome souls i have had the pleasure of meeting in person, of calling them friends, of having created outstanding memories. My decade started out with my first GWT (Global World Tour), oh ya that’s what you do once you get Australia Citizenship ;-), fly away. Ha ha ha.

The Route

Hong Kong: Sky scrappers; I found navigating in the city using local transport very easy; it’s a very user friendly city with customer service available on the train and bus routes as well as efficient tech implementation to aid easy commutation; Infrastructure in the city rocks.

Macau: 28 Casinos and counting

Paris: Eiffel Tower is very pretty by night though.

London: Love Bath its really scenic; Windsor Castle – Crimson and Gold room is my fav, need to make frnds with the Queen ;-)

Madrid: Architecture is grand but city is not all that structured and clean.

New York: Most un-eco friendly city with all the Leads draining and consuming power; some of them have switched to Solar panels though. But is very dirty. I liked the street numbering system i.e. 4th Street, 42nd Street, et al.

Washington DC: Office buildings ;-)

Baltimore, Maryland: Very scenic drive

Philadelphia:

Virginia, Shenandoah caverns: I luv the landscape in Virginia

Boston: Universities n more Uni's

Rhode Island: Breakers Mansion is awesome

Naigara Falls: Lunch at the Skylon Tower over looking the Falls is very romantic. Its the perfect place for candle light dinner. The restaurant revolves which adds to creating the perfect ambiance giving you view of parts of Canada as well as the Falls.

Toronto: Melbourne and Toronto share a lot of streets with the same name.

LA: Is clean; liked that about it.

Las Vegas: New Years count down was grand. Nevada is clean and well designed. Stayed at Grand Luxor.

Grand Canyon,Arizona: It is breath takingly wow!

Back home sweet home :-).

I met Uncle Stan (Stan Lee) in LA. I was expecting a 5 minute interaction but he was very gracious it ended up being a good almost 3 hour sit down lunch catch up. And am sure it had nothing to do with the quality of questions i did ask, more like the universe needed me to get his counsel. He did sow the seed of me moving continents from Australia to US. I hesitantly said i will consider and fast forward to `19 am here. I miss Melbourne though from time to time.

The 10 years that unfolded have only added to all the kind, wise, driven, passionate souls have had the pleasure of interacting with all through my life. This video a tribute to all you outstanding beings i have the fortune of calling friends - my extended family. Disclaimer: As you are aware am selfie shy, that’ why am missing some awesome beings on there, Uncle Stan n my paternal grand-mom are just two such souls amongst the many i have missed in this video. Note to self, get one this decade ;-).

I most certainly can’t wrap up the recap without mentioning @NatGeo team, National Geographic team on twitter. Every year on my birthday i do something new. β€˜19 i chose to bring emoji’ to twitter conversations and the team jumped in to assist shape this together. I was touched. :-) Thank you team @NatGeo. You rock!

Looking forward to another ROCK’n decade with all you awesome souls i get to call my tribe! Ever grateful!

With Love & Gratitude,

Afrroz Hudli
